Ms. Hazel N. Dukes is the president of Hazel N. Dukes & Associates consultancy firm, which specializes in public policy, health and diversity. Ms. Dukes is also a member of the NAACP National Board of Directors, the NAACP Executive Committee and an active member of several NAACP board subcommittees.
Ms. Dukes received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Adelphi University and completed postgraduate work at Queens College. Between 1990 and 2012, she was awarded honorary doctorate degrees from Queens College, Medgar Evers College and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Above all, Ms. Dukes is a woman dedicated to issues of human rights, equality and social justice. She has endured and persevered as an active and dynamic leader known and respected for her unselfishness and track record of improving the quality of life for many.
